Monday 5 August 2019, 11:02am ITV News Anglia has been uncovering the history behind a Fenland church with a host of wooden angels in its roof. St Wendreda's in March has 120 oak angels.

St Wendreda's Church March The church is famous for its beautiful double hammer beam angel roof, the donors of which are reputed to be William and Alice Dredeman about the year 1500. In 1343 during the reign of Edward III March was given permission from the Pope to rebuild its little church so that the relics of St Wendreda could be returned to the place she called home.
